Come join in celebration of the Winter Solstice! Bang a drum or a pot or pan, ring a bell, sing a song, carry a lantern, wear a costume…this is a participatory event! Come celebrate the return of light at Toronto’s original Lantern procession! We will meet at 5:30pm at College and Augusta - Parade begins at 6pm Sharp at Oxford and Augusta so we will walk down Augusta to Oxford at around 5:45ish Red Pepper Spectacle Arts proudly presents the 20th Annual Festival of Lights in Kensington Market. How to Get There: | |||||||
Event Directions: | TTC to Baturst/College or Spadina/College. Augusta street is between Bathurst and Spadina south of College. I usually take the subway to Spadina and the streetcar down from there to College and then walk over. Spadina streetcars are more frequent than Bathurst. | ||||||
