Itinerary:

This hike is a 18 km loop in the Dundas Valley Conservation Area.

We will park the cars near Tiffany Falls and from there we will follow the trail through Sherman Falls, Hermitage Falls, Heritage Falls and other places of Dundas Conservation Area.

Considering the Ontario Colors Report of this week the percentage of color change should be on its peek for Oct 24th in Dundas Valley area and hopefully it won't be more than 20% of leaf fall

We will have lunch at some point, whenever we get hungry and we found a beautiful place to stop.

We should finish the hike by 5pm and return to Downsview at 6pm approximately. Although, there will not clock-pressure in this event, so I will recommend do not make an appointment at 6.30pm ;-)

Important:

  • We will be hiking at 4.0 km/h pace for 5-6 hours. Please don't sign up if you are not comfortable with keeping this pace (either you are a beginner, slower or faster hiker).
  • This event will take place rain or shine. Please don't sign up if you don't like to hike in rain conditions.
  • Previous TOC hiking experience (D4) or equivalent is a pre-requisite.
