Itinerary:

A faster-paced, late fall evening/night walk through High Park and the Waterfront Trail to Humber River Bridge and possibly Humber Bay Park.

  • Starting at the PARK ENTRANCE at High Park Avenue and Bloor St, we will walk through various trails designed to include many short hills, twists and turns and walk for about 2 hours, eventually returning to the park and Bloor Street.
  • This will NOT be suitable for beginners, unless you email me and indicate your fitness experience and willingness to push a little harder....
  • It will be dark, cold and possibly WET!
  • Please bring a flashlight/headlight, jacket, gloves, waterproof rain gear and warm hat.
  • Optional coffee/cake social in Bloor West after.
  • We are expecting to power walk over varied terrain(flat trails gravel, road, grass, etc).
  • AND YES, THIS EVENT GOES AHEAD RAIN OR SHINE, OR SNOW!

    • Good hiking footwear
    • Flashlight/Headlight
    • Water, hot beverage, camera
    • Poncho/Rain Jacket
    		Recommended Items to Bring:

    • a good attitude and lots of infamous TOC stories

    How to Get There:
    Event Directions:Traveling by subway you get off at the High Park Subway station on the Bloor line. Go to High Park Avenue and turn right(south). Cross Bloor Street and enter park, we will be there around the Map.

  • Traveling by car going east bound on QEW get off at Lakeshore and turn north on Parkside Drive.
  • Traveling west on QEW/Gardiner get of at Dunn ave and Turn north on Parkside Drive.
  • Follow Parkside to Bloor and turn Left(west) to the next set of lights and turn left into the High Park.
  • There is some parking just inside the park, find a spot and walk back to entrance.
