Itinerary:

This is your turn to give something back to the larger community, having fun, and hanging out in the beautiful Caledon area!

Tree-planting will last 2.5 – 3 hours, depending on the total number of volunteers, and then there will be a complimentary barbeque.

Wear long pants and long sleeves, and bring work gloves if you have them. Workboots or sturdy shoes are a must. Tools will be provided. Hats/sunglasses/sunscreen/insect repellent are suggested.

FYI, this location is a privately-owned farm. Speaking as a farmer’s daughter who has planted a lot of trees in her day, I’m sure that these farmers will be grateful for the help, and that the trees that we plant that day will not only help reduce air pollution, but will also mitigate soil erosion. You will be doing a great thing.

This work is being coordinated by theCredit Valley Conservation Authority
