Itinerary: | |||||||
This is a great opportunity to practice/develop your night vision skills in a winter environment and explore one of the most beautiful ravines in Toronto. We will meet in the entrance of Eglinton West subway station, just passing the turnstiles. We will be doing the complete Belt Line and Central Ravines Discovery Walk:
1) Cross all the Belt Line Park until Mount Pleasant Av. The expected walking speed will be 3km/hr (we will NOT be running, but it is not a slow walk). We are expected to walk over snow and/or ice (Winter boots are mandatory). Note that this hike has a different start / end point. We will end in Yonge & St. Clair. To go back to Eglinton you will need to take TTC. There is a map at http://www.toronto.ca/parks/brochures/walks/DW_Central.pdf (we are doing the Belt Line and the ravines Loop). It is winter, please dress in layers | |||||||
