Late winter urban hike Discovery walk Garrison Creek. The walk is approximately 4km long with a walking time of about 1.5 hrs. (minimum) The starting point will be from the west side of Front St. West and Bathurst Street from one of Toronto's premier historical sites, FORT YORK. We will find evidence of the creek's former alignment by following the Garrison Creek Discovery walk as it meanders along curving neighbourhood street and through a series of interconnected parks and open areas. The walk ends at the CHRISTIE PITS PARK. There will be an additional 1km walk to watch an interesting site (to be announced at the end of the hike) | |||||||

How to Get There: | |||||||
Event Directions: | We will meet at the west side of Front St. W.and Bathurst St. at 10:45.I will be holding a TOC sign. By TTC - From Bathurst St. take Streetcar 511 Bathurst south. By car - park your vehicle near by Christie park and take the eastbount TTC train at Christie Stn. and get off at Bathurst Stn. then take the Streetcar 511 and get off at Front St. West. | ||||||
