What happens when nature gets angry? We'll be checking out a free screening of
The Last Winter.
The film is an environmental horror/thriller that takes place in northern Alaska where an oil company struggles to establish a drilling base. With its incredible visuals, the film is a sort of plea for environmental awareness, as nature fights back and the "deadly" consequences of environmental abuse are explored. Academic Seminar with special guest presenter, Eye Weekly Film Critic, Adam Nayman. Look for me holding a TOC sign in the lobby from 630PM onwards. | |||||
