I've been amazed and humbled by the enthusiastic response from TOC members to my volunteer postings. I always knew that the people of Toronto are caring and compassionate and your actions help to reinforce that every day.

I've made arrangements for us to lend a hand at a charity serving the downtown core. Today, Christmas Eve Day, we'll be taking time out to help others by helping to make beds, fold laundry and sort food at the Good Shepherd Refuge .

Look for me there with a TOC sign and even wearing a Santa hat. At 11:45AM all volunteers get a complimentary lunch.

Comfortable clothing for working in.
