Our UofT tour earlier in the summer was so much fun that I was urged to run another one to see some of the buildings that we did not have time to see then. And so here is Tour number 2.
We will meet at 6:00 pm for dinner at “Biryani House” Indian restaurant at 25 Wellesley St. East, across from Wellesley subway station. I will make a reservation under David Block. Then at about 7:00 pm we will walk east to UofT for an informal tour led by myself. Although I got my first UofT library card when I was in grade 5, I do not know that well the eastern part of the campus where we will spend much of our time. | |||||||

How to Get There: | |||||||
Event Directions: | The easiest to get to the restaurant is by TTC, walking or biking. For the TTC, take the Yonge subway to Wellesley Station. Then cross Wellesley St (carefully) and turn left (east) a few paces till you come to the Biryani House” Indian restaurant at 25 Wellesley St. East.
If you plan to drive (not the best idea, cause park is expensive), you can try finding street parking, or go to the parking lot close by called Carpark 5 at Wellesley Street east of Yonge (15 Wellesley Street East) 135 Spaces - Evenings Mon - Sat (18:00 - 07:00) $1.75 per 1/2 hr to MAX of $6.00 | ||||||
