When you register you MUST type in the notes kabob or fish or neither

please type EXACTLY 1 of those choices SPELLED AS ABOVE

do not type kebob or kabab or I'd like fish or none etc

it makes it easier for me when I tally the choices

easier = happy arnie! 😀😀😀

happy arnie = you get moved to the event list


if you don't, (then arnie ≠ happy) and you will NOT get on the event.

You will stay on the waiting list forever!

or until the event date has passed, which ever comes first 🤣🤣🤣

or you can remove your waitlist spot, and try again properly 🙂

MAXIMUM GROUP SIZE: this depends how many people sign up for "kabob" or "fish" or "neither"
Last time we had 4 for fish, 16 for kabob, 3 for neither. that worked out just fine! but there could be room for 10 for fish or 16 for kabob

I set the maximum to 1 which forces everyone on to the waiting list. If I see you have entered the required info in the notes, then I will manually move you to the event. Allow some time for that since I don't sit at my computer all day and check

Moving someone from the waitlist to an event must be done manually by the event coordinator. It is not an automatic system process

I have done this hike for fish + chips many times.
There is an excellent kabob restaurant very close to the fish + chips place
Sounds like a good idea, so we will hike 8 km then you have a choice of going to fish + chips, or the kabob place, (or neither) then hike another 4 km back to Davisville.

If you want to hike only and not have lunch you could catch a bus after 8 km.
OR, there are other restaurants and fast food places in the area,
so you could also meet us after we have kabobs or fish + chips to complete the 12 km with us.

The hike will be along a mix of paved, gravel and dirt paths. We will be walking thru the cemetery
There may be a few short muddy areas on the path
