We'll take a pleasant walk through the river valley (there is a great place for a picnic on the riverside, conveniently located near some toilets), after which we will continue on until we reach Cataract and the Falls.
Total hiking distance is just over 6k to see the highlights of the area, but we could add some side trails depending on how the group is doing.
After the hike Erik will lead whoever wants to have food/drink/conversation and other assorted types of "good times" to an establishment near the carpool location.

A small parking fee is required, so bring along some change.

NOTE: Due to the nature of the hike there will be no meeting at the event. Everyone must meet at the carpool in order to attend this hike. Directions & maps will be provided at the carpool.

Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $28.38 (calculated at total Km * $0.258, effective Thursday, January 30, 2025). This is based on $0.08/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divide by 9. Your event coordinator will confirm exactly how much money is required from each person.
