So, the random hike picker has selected this urban hike for this evening.

This 10.5 KM hike will both start and finish at Lawrence Subway Station.

The hike will be on a combination of sidewalks, single track dirt trails, paved park paths and wide gravel trails.

In terms of hills, there should be two 25 meter climbs and one 50 meter climb.

I usually carry a pair of icers with me from the first snowfall of the year until the end of April, so I recommend having a pair in your pack to deal with any potential ice.
You can find the pair I use, 'HERE ON AMAZON'.

    Event Directions:

Lawrence Subway Station is located on the Yonge Subway Line, two stops south of Sheppard and 6 Stations north of Bloor.

We'll meet on the North-West corner of Yonge St and Lawrence Ave, right beside the City Market on the Lawrence Avenue side.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE MAIN SUBWAY ENTRANCE AT LAWRENCE STATION IS CLOSED, SO YOU WILL BE FORCED TO EXIT AT THE NORTH ENTRANCE.
Please exit to the BEDFORD PARK AVENUE EXIT, which you can get to by turning left once exiting the presto fare gates.
You should be out, beside the exit with the TD
From there, once you get to Yonge Street, turn right (south) and walk to the next traffic light.
If you don't know which direction is south, walk in the direction of the SCOTIABANK (which is visible on the other side of the street).
Once you get to Lawrence, turn right and I'll beside the City Market.

In terms of parking, there's free parking on Lympstone Ave, which is one block south of Lawrence, east of Yonge & on St Edmunds Dr, which is one block east of Yonge Street, south of Lawrence.

Look for me in the BLUE Toronto Outdoor Club shirt.

If anyone needs to use the washroom, there's one located inside the City Market.
