Itinerary:

So, the random hike picker has selected this urban hike for today.

This 12.5 KM hike will start at High Park Station and end at Keele Station.

The hike will be on a combination of sidewalks, grassy fields, single track dirt trails and wide paved paths.

In terms of hills, there should be about 3 climbs of 25 meters.

I'll attempt to stop for a washroom break at
- 6 KM in Rennie Park
- 9 KM on Spring Road

I usually carry a pair of icers with me from the first snowfall of the year until the end of April, so I recommend having a pair in your pack to deal with any potential ice.
You can find the pair I use, 'HERE ON AMAZON'.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE'S A SUBWAY CLOSURE ON LINE 1 BETWEEN ST GEORGE & ST ANDREW STATION THIS WEEKEND

  • How to Get There:
    Event Directions:

We'll meet outside the Quebec Avenue exit of High Park Station.
High Park Station is located on Line 2, Bloor-Danforth, 1 stop west of Keele & 2 stops east of Jane. If its cold or wet, I'll just be inside the station doors.

For those driving, Quebec Avenue is located one block west of High Park Avenue, north of Bloor.
In terms of parking, there is free street parking in the neighborhood north of the station.
Please read the signs carefully as the parking rules rotate on the two sides of the street based on what day of the month it is.

An alternative would be the park at Keele Station as there's a free parking lot on weekends.
The parking lot address is 1678 Bloor St W, but it is accessed from Indian Road, which is 1 traffic light east of Keele, north of Bloor.
