Note: We will walk as a group, if you are super fast/not sure if you can maintain the pace, this event is not for you.

Did someone say Farmer’s Market? Now that the Fall Harvest is underway, let’s start at Warden Station and wind our way through Warden Woods and Taylor Creek to Coxwell Ave, where we will finish at the East York Farmer’s Market. The market hosts a number of Ontario farmers who sell veggies, cheese and meats. There are also a few food stalls if you want have a snack before you head home. Don’t forget to pack a shopping bag!

Note: I will augment our route from August so we land at ~10km.

Easy exit points from the Farmer’s Market at Mortimer and Coxwell: Take the bus/walk to the Coxwell Subway Stn (1 km away)

  • Route consists mostly of paved/gravel paths
  • We will start at the pedestrian entrance at Warden Station and finish at the East York Farmer’s Market (Mortimer Ave/Coxwell Ave)
    This walk/hike will be run rain or shine.
    Plan to arrive 5 to 10 minutes before the start time to be checked in.
    We will leave PROMPTLY at the start time.

    Please arrange to meet at the main pedestrian entrance at Warden Subway Station (on Warden Ave-see map) .
    If you are driving, there is Green P paid parking north of Warden Station (North Lot). Note: The South lot is currently closed.
