Itinerary:

For this hike, I’ve been trying to understand the north western side of the Smalls Ravine, so I’m going to attempt to pop out there today.

This short 6 KM route will both start and finish at Greenwood Subway Station.

The hike will be on a combination of paved park paths, grassy fields, single track dirt trails and sidewalks.

In terms of hills, there are two decent challenging stair climbs of about 25 meters each.

Sadly, there aren’t really any washroom stops on this hike.
However, it’s a short route.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the way I do my hikes is that I don’t tend to lead them, I tend to manage them.
So if you see me walking at a certain pace, you do not have to walk at the same pace as me.
If you want to walk at a faster pace, that’s cool, but if you want to walk at a slower pace, that’s cool too.
We’ll stop for a break when we take a major turn, cross a major intersection or when I think the group is getting to far separated.
I’ll rush up to the front and allow folks to take a breather, water and make sure you’re alive break.
My only request, if you choose to walk ahead of me and you do not know where you’re going, please stop and wait and I’m not going to chase after you if you choose to go the wrong way.
