Join me on a classic long hike right before my b-day--in case you are curious: I am 25, obviously ;)--in the lovely Beaver Valley section of the Bruce Trail. Hilly and challenging terrain. Distance is 30.9 km, about 825m/2700' of vert, pace is 4.5-5km an hour. This is a tough hike with many water features. Those willing to drive, regular D5 hikers, and and members with good attendance histories will be given preference on the waiting list. Passengers will be added as drivers become available. Passengers, PLEASE try to bring change for the carpool $ for your drivers! I'll have a few TOC 2024 badges for sale, $20 each.
