Itinerary:

So, my friend and I were recently discussing how they thought it was hard to come up with an interesting 10 KM hike down to the lake and back from Old Mill Station.
So, in my competitive way, I was like "challenge accepted" and this is what I created.

This 10 KM hike will both start and finish at Old Mill Station.

The hike will be on a combination of paved park paths, neighbourhood sidewalks, single track dirt trails and grassy fields.

In terms of hills, there should be about 6 of 25 meters, one which is closer to 50 meters.

I'll attempt to stop for a washroom break at Sir Casimir Gzowski Park about 5 KM into the hike.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS A SUBWAY CLOSURE ON LINE 2 BETWEEN BROADVIEW & WOODBINE THIS WEEKEND.

PLEASE NOTE THAT LINE 2 IS CLOSED BETWEEN ST GEORGE AND BROADVIEW STATION UNTIL NOON THIS MORNING

    Event Directions:

    Old Mill Subway Station is located on the Bloor/Danforth Subway line, 12 stops west of St. George and 3 stops east of Kipling.

    (Look for me in the BLUE Toronto Outdoor Club shirt standing outside the the entrance of the station) If its cold or wet, I'll just be inside the station doors.

    For those of you driving, Old Mill Station is located at 2672 Bloor Street West.
    There's a free parking lot in Kings Mill Park North located at 21 Old Mill Road, which is just north of Bloor.
