Itinerary:

By signing up for this event, you agree to, and acknowledge, the following:

  1. If you are vaccinated and have travelled outside of Canada within the last 14 days, you have read and will follow the federal laws as per Government of Canada - Travel to Canada: Requirements for COVID- 19 vaccinated travellers Web site
  2. If you are unvaccinated and have travelled outside of Canada within the last 14 days, you are compelled by law to be in quarantine and cannot lawfully attend this event, as per the Federal Government’s website
  3. You will take and pass the Ontario COVID-19 self-assessment on-line questionnaire. within 48 hours prior to the start of the event.
  4. Should this event involve a car pool, you will wear a face mask at all times when inside a vehicle
If you have previous SUP experience, join me for an SUP outing. Bring your own board or rent from Toronto SUP and Kayak, Cherry Beach location. Renting is done online and you should do it ASAP before the boards are booked by someone else! We will explore the perimeter of the Outer Harbour and will return back by 12PM.

You should be able to comfortably paddle an SUP. You agree to abide by the TOC rules, including wearing PFD at all times.

If you have not paddled an SUP with me, please NOTE your experience on the sign-up form (e.g., previous TOC SUP events or lessons), otherwise your sign-up will be moved to the wait list.

If you are renting, please go to https://www.torontosup.com/toronto-sup-and-kayak- rentals and book an SUP (e.g., Bomber 10'7") for 2HR, 10AM on 17 September. Please mention that you booked your rental in TOC event Notes.

If you are bringing your own board, please show up a little bit earlier to unload or inflate your board. Please mention that you are bringing your board in TOC event Notes.

  • Waterproof bag for valuables

  • Bus 172;
  • Bike (lots of construction on Cherry St., consider using Leslie St. instead); and
  • Car (free parking, but the lot gets busy quickly).
