EVENT DETAILS

So, on August 10th, I sprained my left ankle. I've spent the last month letting it heal and am ready to start hiking again.
However, I can't rush back into it, so I'm going to lead a few short/slow 'rehab' hikes as I begin to feel better.

So, today's 6 KM is just a short loop both starting and finishing at Scarborough Town Centre Station, but is a brand new route.

This hike will be on a combination of neighbourhood sidewalks, single track dirt trails and paved park paths.

Elevation is at a minimal for this hike, with a few small climbs, but nothing over 25 meters.

I'll attempt to stop for a washroom in Thompson Memorial Park about 3 KM into the hike.

We'll aim for a slower pace of 3.5 to 4 KM/h

PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS A SUBWAY CLOSURE ON LINE 1 BETWEEN SHEPPARD-YONGE AND ST CLAIR THIS WEEKEND.
