Write Up:
We stayed at the University of Ottawa residence, which put us right in downtown Ottawa. And the residence was a very comfortable place from which to head out on various cycling trips along the Rideau Canal, into the experiemental farm, and into Gatineau Park. The Gatineau Park ride was especially hilly and exciting, with lots of steep hills to conquer. We also dined on one evening at Kinki, where we enjoyed a fushion of Asian-inspired dishes, and had a late-night tour of the parliament buildings. On Monday morning, before returning home, several of the participants enjoyed a tour of the National Art Gallery and/or the Museaum of Civilization.
