Great guides, great people & beautiful weather made for a fabulous evening of paddling. Lots of kayaks, ducks and geese were on the water. Two love-birds, Mel and Ernest checked out bird sanctuaries in their tandem kayak. David and Carmen limboed their tandem kayak under trees. Bernadette, Doug, Kathy and Lisa paddled in single kayaks. Ghanesh practiced some advanced paddling skills. Christine and Mike, having never paddled before decided to explore the Toronto Harbour in their tandem kayak until they got too hungry. The group of paddlers that went out to Toronto Island returned to the delicious odour of burgers & hotdogs cooking on the grill. Driven by the promise of food, paddlers paddled hard to beach themselves on the Harbourfront docks like killer whales at Marine Land. Lisa was especially happy to onto dry land & to get into new clothes as she had gone out without a skirt. All enjoyed the paddle in & around the Harbour, the BBQ & the no-name cheese doodles. We'll have to do it again soon!
