Write Up:
Well, as I was not strictly in attendance, the following are nothing but unconfirmed rumors. Apparently Lillian is quite proud of herself for having beaten the Benster. At what I don't know. Maybe she ran a little while he merely walked the short course during their clinic. Mel and I completed the long course running, each missing one control. Either way it seems everyone is more familiar with the use of their compass now, and at least capable of locating orange ribbons in the bush with a good map. Whether this will aid anyone in navigating unfamiliar roads is another story. I for one am sure that Ben is still capable of getting very lost! Carolyn joined us for the first time. Julius told of how easy it is to spend money on camping equipment. The weather was excellent, and we had a bit of dinner and drinks afterwards.
