This time out, we switch up the venues form the TCA to Joe Rockhead's. It was perhaps a change for some of the folks who learned at the TCA with the ropes anchor down to the floor rather than clipped on traditionally on the belay loop. Most people passed the belay test, glad to see you guys still remember after the holidays! Michelle remembered how to climb and belay even after months of not having climbed and exceeded her expectations before the night ended. Things were pretty busy at the gym. Good thing we had a nice small group whom we often saw around the gym to chat with as we waited for climbs to be free. I'm told it is especially busy this time around (but maybe will pan down once those New Year Revolutionaries leave) compared to the typical. Some new folks (Mark, Michael, Karen, Krista) came out to this for their first event to to meet, greet, and climb with some fellow TOC members. Hope you had fun and hope to see you all out again on future events. All in all, things were a success! Everyone definitely want to make rock climbing a recurring event. Next round we should find a place to grab a bite and a drink after some climbing.
