Thank you to Margie, Sophia and JP for driving up to Brampton for this hike. Special welcome to Sophia who was on her first TOC event!
Our route was shortened to 8.7 km due to couple of trail closures. The fencing was being erected off Sandalwood blocking access to the park from the original meeting point. Looks like that fencing will be there at least until the spring. That required the meeting point change to the entrance gate in the park. Further around the northern edge of the lake the trail over one of the bridges was also closed and that prevented us from going forward.
In any case, we had a very nice, leisurely walk through various woodland trails in the park, enjoying the late fall weather and the company of wonderful group of folks and with Echo and Rusty showing us the way :)
