Itinerary:

I agree with Caroline nothing suggests the end of summer like volunteers posting winter related events :)

Time to start planning our curling season. All levels are welcome. Please indicate in the notes if you would like to have one hour with an instructor; this is very helpful for people who has never played curling or only has played it a few times.

This is a great opportunity to learn all the basics of this fun sport or to refresh/practice what you learned last time. I know it looks boring on TV, but trust me on this one, it is very fun to play. Worse case scenario, shouting at the sweepers should be a stress reliever ;-)

We will have at least one instructor for one hour to teach us from how to throw the rock to game strategy. Even better, we will have time to practice our freshly acquired skills. For more information about Curling Click here

If there is enough interest, we can increase the number of participants by renting an extra sheet. Please, sign-up and pay early to guarantee the fourth sheet.

All necessary equipment will be provided. Note that the cost for the instructor is extra and it must be paid in cash on the day of the event (approximately $4-6 per person)

After we are done, we can go for drinks or a bite to eat on a nearby pub

Required Items to Bring:

Dress for the ice (layers are highly recommended). Clean running shoes, no dirty shoes will be allowed on the ice. Gloves. Cash to pay the instructor ($6 per person)
