Itinerary:
OK, so this is kind of last minute, but what the heck! Join me for a beautiful long weekend in Frontenac. We'll get the chance to see the spring flowers blooming, birds migrating, and if we're lucky we'll come across some of the 38 species of mammals that call Frontenac home.

The terrain will be rugged in sections, and we'll be travelling 10 to 15 km a day, moving at a pace of 3.5 to 4 km/h, depending on the terrain. We'll start with the Big Salmon Lake trail and follow the lakes around the perimeter of the park.

This trip is designed for experienced backpackers.

Spring time can bring many surprises, so we'll need to be prepared for drastic changes in weather and expect the unexpected!

This trip will require vacation time to be taken on Easter Monday.

Carpool Cost: Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $141.90 (calculated at total Km * $0.258, effective Sunday, April 28, 2024). This is based on $0.08/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divide by 9. Your event coordinator will confirm exactly how much money is required from each person.

Notes:

- Registration is NOT COMPLETE until you've signed up and paid by the registration cut off date. The money must be in the TOC's possession by that date. No exceptions.
- When a minimum group size appears, this is to let you know that the event will be cancelled with full refunds to those who have already paid, if the minimum number of registered participants is not met. For any events where TOC needs a minimum number of participants, there will be absolutely no refund of money if you cancel.
- We encourage all members to follow our Etiquette Guidelines at all times while participating in TOC events.
