Itinerary:

Come join us for a fun-filled weekend at the Highlands Nordic Farmhouse near Collingwood. The Farmhouse is located a few steps from the Bruce Trail. There'll be moderately-paced hikes on both Saturday and Sunday, going north one day and south on the other. You can join these hikes or find other sources of amusement.

The Farmhouse has a fully equipped kitchen with an oven/stove, microwave oven, fridge, dishes, and utensils for us to use. Everyone will be responsible for their own meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks). If you plan on going on the hikes, be sure that your lunches can be eaten on the trail.

The TOC is the only group in the Farmhouse for the weekend. There is a large living room with a fireplace where we can relax at the end of the day. There is also an outdoor fire pit we can use, should we feel inclined to do so. All bedrooms have several beds, so you will be sharing accomodations with other TOC members (bed linens are provided). If you are a couple, i.e., two people wanting to share a bed, please indicate this in the notes on your sign up- there are three double beds, so I will try to accomodate you. You can see the Farmhouse layout here.

Please sign up only if you can make the carpool: Friday night at 6 pm at Downsview subway station.
