Night Hike: Hoggs Hollow to University Heights (11 KM) (3/16/2020)

Itinerary:

So, doing an urban hike in the north end this time.

Today's hike will be on a combination of single track trails, multi-use trails and gravel roads. The walk will go from York Mills Station to Finch West Station for an 11 km route.

The entire hike we are climbing, however the hills are very subtle, so you may not notice we climb about 60 meters throughout the route.

Sadly, there will not be any washrooms stops on this hike, due to city closures.

I usually carry a pair of icers with me from the first snowfall of the year until the end of April, so I recommend having a pair in your pack to deal with any potential ice. You can find the pair I use, 'here from Amazon'.

    York Mills Subway Station is located on the Yonge Subway line, seven stops north of Bloor. We will meet beside the Starbucks on the North East corner of Yonge/York Mills.

    It is also the exit for the York Mills Centre.
