Itinerary:

Let's explore the Oak Ridges trail and see Lake Wilcox, Lake St. George, Swan Lake, and Bond Lake along the way. Doors Open is an annual series of events, when many sites in Ontario communities open their doors to the general public. We will visit two such sites in Richmond Hill as part of this hike. If time permits, after the hike, we can drive to a couple of other Doors Open sites located on the route to Toronto.

Note: Drivers will get preference on the waiting list. I'll increase the maximum number of participants as we get more drivers.

We'll meet outside the Don Mills TTC Station (Passenger Pick-up) at 9:30 am, and then drive to Lake Wilcox Park. You can also meet us directly at the Lake Wilcox Park (55 Olde Bayview Ave, Richmond Hill, ON L4E 3C8).

We'll start hiking around 10 am, and finish by around 4 pm. We expect to be back at Don Mills Station by 4:30 pm.

Hiking path
This may change depending on the weather conditions.

  6. Moraine Park
  7. Lake Wilcox Park
