Itinerary:

Hardwood's website indicates that they have all trails open and an OK snow base. Plus between now and our event day temperatures are not expected to climb above zero. We can expect good conditions on Hardwood great trails.

We will ski in small groups according to your level and pace. There is a chalet with food and drinks, though it only serves basic food. Therefore, you might want to bring your own lunch.
A trail pass costs $26.00 (plus tax) per person. If you need to rent equipment, it costs an additional $35.00 (plus tax) for a total of $61.00 (plus tax) per person.

We will leave Hardwood between 4pm and 5pm at the latest and be back at Sheppard West/Downsview subway station around 5:30pm and 6:30pm.

Those who want, can go out to dinner once we are back in Toronto.

For drivers, and possible drivers…
1. How many passengers can you take with you, if you take skis and if you don’t take Skis? Also, can you take skis on roof racks? Important for people with long skis.

3. If you are taking your skis, how long are they? – Please estimate if you are unsure.


Required Items to Bring:
Appropriate clothing for the weather and activity: layered, breathable clothing is best. Water (1-2 litres), snacks/lunch
And For drivers: The coordinator suggests you have the event organizer and other carpool drivers cell/info upon your person and a winter safety car kit - including direction/driving maps, up to date roadside assistance info. Winter tires are recommended.
