The Toronto Outdoor Club passes the 6 month milestone on December 1st. According to those who have gone before me, the next 6 months will be a period of great growth and opportunity for the club. I think it's important that we check in with volunteers, people who are thinking of becoming volunteers and members who are enjoying the club and want a say in how the club shapes up in the next six months My plan is to discuss some strategies to get more events on the calendar and to get people to sign up for those events. Also, to think of some long term goals and to discuss things that have been working and maybe making adjustments to things that have been problematic. I think that getting everyone together in one place will get everyone thinking enthusiastically about the club and what they can contribute over the next few months For those who want to incorporate an outdoor activity, we can explore the Eldred King Forest Tract on McCowan - part of the Oak Ridges Moraine trail Please note: attendees must have been to at least one TOC event. It would be difficult to participate without prior experience. If you haven't been to an event, or you can't make this meeting and you have comments or ideas, please send all suggestions to info@torontooutdoorclub.com and we will discuss your concern among our group. | |||||||
