Itinerary:
I have a couple of canoes hanging in the garage that are begging to be used... so...who wants to go paddling on the Humber!? We will put in at the King's Mills Park near the marina and paddle casually down the river exploring the various marshes and eventually come to the mouth of Lake Ontario where we will turn around and head back upriver to our starting point. The entire paddle should take no more than 3 hours. We will meet at Jane Subway Station and hop in my car for a quick ride to the put in point. You must be able to swim and agree to wear a PFD in the boat as per TOC rules. Please include a brief note about your experience in the Notes when you sign up. This paddle is open to all levels but I'm hoping to introduce newbies to canoeing who don't have a chance to go on out of town trips. PLEASE NOTE: I'm not an experienced instructor so I won't be teaching, you will be participating entirely at your own risk There are no costs for this event. All paddles and PFD's will be supplied unless you have your own.

The event status will depend on weather conditions.

This is intended to be a casual paddle. We must follow all TOC rules, including wearing PFD at all times while in a boat.
