Itinerary:

There is nothing in this world as enjoyable as taking a few days off for a vacation and riding your bike all day along paths, trails and bike friendly roads, making or buying your food and camping or staying at a rustic B&B for the night. Or it can be a trip from hell full of break-downs, angry truckers, cold meals, rain and wet clothing.

Allan Stokell, and Jim O, both events Coordinators here at TOC, have organized this seminar for members who want to learn how to tour successfully, or improve their touring skills.

TOC bike tours require participants to qualify for tours. Taking this seminar qualifies you to start taking bicycle tours offered by Allan and Jim. Tours tentatively planned for next summer include a weekend wine tour of Niagara, a loop tour of Niagara and the Welland Canal, an extended tour of Le P’tit Train do Nord, in the Laurentians, and more easy to moderate as well as challenging tours.

Touring 101 is a hands-on seminar spotlighting the information you need to know, the equipment you must have and the skills to be developed to make your bike touring full of pleasant memories and experiences.

NOTE

Because of the long waiting list, please book and pay for the seminar at the same time. Paid waiting list members will be added first.
