Learn to make Sushi!

A night to experience Japan . Starting with making sushi rice into futomaki and California rolls. Followed by Nigiri Sushi with Shrimp and Smoked salmon.

Everyone gets to dress up in kimonos and sit down for a formal sushi dinner and drink sake.

Don't miss out on this fun and hands-on experience. Join our trained chef to learn how to make Sushi like the pros.

There will be a competition to see which of the 4 teams can make and present the best sushi platter. The best sushi chef will receive a gift.

    Located in Chinguacousy Park at 195 Central Parkway, in Brampton

  • Take 401 West to 410 North, exit on Queen St. East
  • Go East-first set of lights East of Dixie is Central Park Drive,
  • Go North (turn left) the first light is the park, make a right turn into Chinguacousy Park.
  • Park in the first parking lot on your left, walk towards the Greenhouse or the red barn over a bridge, the tea house is right behind the Greenhouse

    Carpool Cost: Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $18.83 (calculated at total Km * $0.258, effective Monday, December 22, 2025). This is based on $0.08/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divide by 9. Your event coordinator will confirm exactly how much money is required from each person.

    Those who make the payment($55) gets moved up the waiting list
    - Registration is NOT COMPLETE until you've signed up and paid by the registration cut off date. The money must be in the TOC's possession by that date. No exceptions.
    - When a minimum group size appears, this is to let you know that the event will be cancelled with full refunds to those who have already paid, if the minimum number of registered participants is not met. For any events where TOC needs a minimum number of participants, there will be absolutely no refund of money if you cancel.
    - We encourage all members to follow our Etiquette Guidelines at all times while participating in TOC events.
