Itinerary:
Atlanta is where it all began! In 2003 after a visit down there (I lived there for 16 months 2000/2001) in which I did a wonderful canoe trip on the Chestatee River with the AOC (Atlanta Outdoor Club) I finally bit the bullet and started the COC, which ultimately spawned the TOC! On this trip, we will have an opportunity to do that canoe trip, as well as a hike near Helen (north Georgia) to enjoy the fall colours and stop in the town of Helen. I also plan on doing a bit of rollerblading on the Silver Comet Rail Trail (see some of my own photos as well). I am not a mountain biker but I know there's good mountain biking to be had and I can try to harass someone to do an event if some of you want to do that. See the Atlanta Outdoor Club for more ideas of what we could do.

There's lots of other stuff to do in Atlanta, as well, which is a really beautiful place, especially on the north end towards the Appalachians. I have a pretty good handle on what's good to do there and we'll maybe see if we can hit The Cotton Club or another cool venue for a show. We can also spend an afternoon zooming around Little Five Points in search of some freaky cool stuff. There are all kinds of possibilities... let me know what you're interested in and if I don't know where it is, I will try to find out.

We will try to coordinate flights, accomodation and vehicle(s). Sign up early and contact me to discuss. Note that you are NOT required to come for the whole time... come for whatever works for you. Members of COC and EOC will be joining us.
