Although the weather became a bit treacherous around 5, with blowing snow making driving conditions a bit iffy, 11 members managed to make it out to enjoy a fun filled evening of music, hot chocolate and skating. Upon arriving at the rink, the snow had lightened to a wet flurries. As the Zamboni cleared the rink of the accumulated snow, we laced up our skates and waited anxiously to get started. As the evening went on, the temperature dropped slightly and the snow increased, as well circled the rink to the beat of the dance music. Heading into the Harbour Café periodically for hot chocolate and to warm up, we skated for over 2 hours before deciding to head up the street to Shoeless Joes for a nightcap. There, we enjoyed some chilled beverages and some warming food, along with lots of laughs. Thanks for the great night all!
