Linda D and I met up at the Soulpepper Theatre yesterday evening for a very strong production of Chekhov's "Uncle Vanya". The play was a swirling, expressionistic treatment of colliding human emotions within and between human individuals trapped by inescapable, unsatisfying and deadening forms of existence.
