Jenn P. hosted us at her new home where we discussed Colin Angus's "Lost In Mongolia". In an effort to be the first to travel the full length of the Yenisey River, Angus and his fellow adventurers travel 5,500 kilometres on this dangerous river through remote Mongolia and Siberia meeting some intriguing folks along the way. We all enjoyed the book and found it a light read but hardly worthy of the dramatic title (he was separated from his friends for over a week, hardly 'lost'). It's more a social study and a glimpse of life in a region of the world most of us will have little opportunity to visit. Recommended, but not the heariest adventure book we've read.
