We two TOC'ers joined up with approx. 20 OFO members for some early winter birding. Sorry I didn't get a total count for the day, but highlights included: Redhead, American Wigeon, Greater Scaup, Common Goldeneye, Northern Shoveler, American Black Duck, Mallard, Long-tailed Duck, American Coot, Red-necked Grebe, Northern Shrike, American Kestrel, Snow Bunting. On my own I continued on to Stoney Creek where a spectacular (and rare) Northern Hawk Owl permitted close viewing.
