Write Up:
- An excellent hike!
- the trails were dry
- mosquitoes were very scarce
- there was a lot of erosion along the banks of the creek since we
last hiked here
in some places the trail had to be rerouted because the land
across which
the trail previously ran did not exist any longer
- had an interesting creek crossing, hopping from boulder to boulder
- some of the more intrepid hikers helped the others across
- while helping 1 hiker, the hike leader had to muster all his
strength and balance as that
hiker leaned to the side and almost
pulled both of them off the boulder and into the creek.
They worked
it out and no one got wet
-
- 10:00 started hiking
- had 2 short snack/lunch breaks
- ended about 3:35
