Two weekends in a row camping in Algonquin for some of us. A welcome chance to get away from it all and do lots of hiking. I brought back my 6am hikes, main day hikes and evening hikes. Everyone went on as many or as few as they felt like it, this is a vacation after all!
Myself and Andreas got an early start on the weekend, leaving Toronto at 5:30am and arriving in Algonquin before 9am. We did several trails along the way to the campsite, including Mizzy Lake Trail, where we saw and photographed three moose!
I stayed on for an extra night and day to get some more hiking and biking in. For those that were interested, I didn't run out of gas. I did come close, but as my car started to sputter I found the Portage Store coming up, and they had gas there.
