What a day to be had running around! We all met up at the subway station and to my very happy surprise everyone that signed up showed up! We walked, skip Ramin who needed to park his vehicle, to the park and found my favorite spot and set up the field. Shannon and J-L both had previous experience and Shannon was good enough to bring her Frisbee, without witch we would be playing with flimsy dollar store specials. After a quick practice of Frisbee throwing, we got down to the rules and started playing a few games with a few stoppages for rules clarification. I was clear to mention that this was a non-contact sport, an ill timed maneuver by yours truly nearly injured Shannon in the hand. After a few games in which everyone gre tired and dehydrated from the heat we decided to call it a day and proceed to go home. J-L and Alana mentioned Lobster which made the coordinators mouth to water. I would like to thank Shannon and J-L for the instructions. Tim, Jianfeng and Alana for playing with gusto and Ramin for being so intense and brave playing with sandals. Until next time!
