Sat, Nov 14 2015 - Backpacking at QEII Wildlands (View Original Event Details)

We, 6 outdoor lovers, arrived at the Devil’s Lake access point and started hiking at 11am. No one was captured by a hunter or a bear, so we arrived safely at the campsite at Victoria Lake at 3:10pm. The weather was very pleasant in the morning and started to snow around 4pm. It was very beautiful and everyone enjoyed the view of snow and the lake. After dinner, we sat around the campfire and had a great time together. The sky was clear and we could see the galaxy clearly. The next day, we hiked back at 9:30pm and arrive at the parking lot around 1:45pm. Before heading home, we sat at a McDonald on the middle of county road 12. Note: Gathered $5 donation.
