As it should be, this day mainly consisted of wetting our lines while relaxing on the lake. Andrew often seemed lost on the whole oncept of fishing from a boat instead of shore, but eventually learned the ropes. He brought in a few, and drove the trailered boat up the ramp to finish the day. For quite a while, Elaine put on a clinic for us as she couldn't keep the sunfish away, and lost many hooks to their small mouths. We started slowly and took a nice break for lunch. Then in the afternoon hit our stride with a perfect spot just off the shallow weedlines close to shore. Matt managed to hook up with three largemouth bass.
Final haul: 1 largemouth, 3 perch, 17 pumpkinseed/sunfish/bluegill.
