Sat, Sep 19 2015 - Walker Woods, Brewery visit and lunch in Port Perry (View Original Event Details)

After a late cancellation and a no show (car pool driver), 9 of us departed Kennedy Station around 8:20am to head to Walker Woods to meet up with 1 other. The 10 of us headed on trail around 9:25am and meandered through the undulating trails and mixed forest for approximately 2.5 hours covering almost 11km. It drizzled some and rained a bit but by the end of the hike, the sun was out and the skies were clearing. We all then drove to Port Perry and visited the Old Flame Brewery where beers were sampled. Afterwards, we walked down the hill to Water Street and enjoyed a lunch at Harp & Wylie's. All in all a great day, fabulous company and decent weather. $10 was collected in voluntary donations.
