Sat, Sep 19 2015 - Warden Woods, Taylor Creek, Lower Don, & Beltline Trails - 20km (View Original Event Details)

The weather wasn't looking good, there was a lot of rain in the forecast and thunderstorms were threatening. In the morning of the hike, the sky was looking like trouble. Regardless, the group of five intrepid hikers willing to brave the weather met up at Warden Station and embarked on the hike. There wasn't a single drop of rain, in fact the sun even poked through the clouds a few times, as we hiked through Warden Woods, the Taylor Creek trail, Lower Don trail, and Crothers Woods. We stopped at Rosehill Reservoir for lunch, and still, no rain. After our lunch break we headed to the Beltline and hiked to Eglinton West station and called it a day. It turned out to be a great day for a hike, too bad for all those who decided to cancel in the last few days.
