Welcome to our 2-first time TOCers Brian and Codrin!
Winter came too early! We had snow on the way to our hike but the scenery was really pretty – imagined yellow red on the ground with white snow hanging on the trees.
It was a little cold to start but we warmed up quickly when we got moving. We did a large loop through the Silver Creek and Bennett Heritage Trail. We began with the Bennett Heritage Trail, to the east side of another starting point of hike. From there we went south, back to Bruce Trail and hiked the Great Esker Side Trail, then along Bruce Trail and back to the starting point.
The trail was quite muddy and rocky in some/most parts but we all managed well to finish this hike. Thanks to our fellows who kept Simba’s company in the car, kept an eye and looked after his bag and water… as well as feeding him well. He’s well taken care of for sure. Maybe that’s the reason you were his favourites!
Thank you all for coming out and made our very first snowy hike!
