After an 8am meet up at Kennedy Station, all four cars headed off for Warsaw Caves Conservation Area. Upon arrival, we checked out our canoes and headed on the water. The day was hot, sunny and the area was just beautiful. And then the thunder rolled in and along with it came a few downpours. After returning the canoes, we waited for a lull in the rain to set up camp. Unfortunately, it rained all evening along with just a few breaks. We did manage to have a dry dinner and have some time around the campfire, but eventually the rain drove us all to our respective tents. In the morning, we awoke to a beautiful, sunny, hot day. Most of us headed to the caves, while a couple chose to relax. Afterwards, we tore down camp, had some lunch and headed back to the city. $22 was collected in voluntary donations
