The started a tad slow, waiting for people at the station, all scattered around the park and ride. We initially met up with Theresa, soo and Fausto who provided the wheels for our trip to the zoo. Please make sure you mention to Fausto when you see him how great his Hyundai Tucson looks - we all know how much he loves it.
once we got there we met everyone else and started off on our day. Everyone decided to make a long day and go see the North American Pavilion. All of us that had been to the zoo so many years ago noted how large the zoo currently is? Since it seemed like a fairly warm day it occurred to me how lazy and quite all the animals where
at lunch Fausto tried to lose me by running around the lunch building making me think they where all outside. Theresa was king enough to bring me back. We ate lunch, and Marco managed to enjoy his first Poutine in Canada. Tom who had already experienced it decided to skip it due to some stomach malaise he experienced the first time around.
With Fausto seemingly trying to get everyone moving, we almost lost track of everyone who thought we where still at the lunch station. With everyone on board we managed to see pretty much the whole zoo except the North American Pavilion which can only be accessed by the zoo mobile for a price. We even managed to buy a poster and stuff animal for loved ones at the gift shop.
we managed to get everyone in Fausto beloved Tuscon and give Marco and Tom a ride to the bus stop. After which the rest of us when to a bar for some munchies and drinks. A big thanks to all for making this a successful event.
