The rain held off all day for the Ride for Heart... Even for our entire outdoor brunch afterwards! It was a record year for the Ride for Heart, but the crowds were managed very well by the organizers this year and the usual "crush" at the start line was generally avoided. We met at the Princes' Gate and proceeded to the start line... The sky was hazy, but it was still a great ride along the Lakeshore and DVP. Allison and Oliver got to see their adoptive city from a different angle, while David completed another big ride. He's been on a number of long rides already this summer. Everyone completed the 50K ride and we continued on to have a brunch on King Street. Everyone had a great time and we all agreed to meet next year... Same ride, same place, same great cause!
